An organic estate producing several impressive I.G.T wines
Located in the beautiful hilltop village of Ghizzano in Tuscany, Tenuta di Ghizzano is an organic estate producing several exquisite ‘Indicazione Geografica Tipica‘ (I.G.T) wines with only their Veneroso qualifying for the relatively unfamiliar Terre di Pisa D.O.C.
An established vineyard nestled within the sweeping Tuscan vistas, Tenuta di Ghizzano has been officially certified organic since 2008 by SUOLO e SALUTE, with the whole estate recently certified biodynamic by DEMETER in 2018.
Tenuta di Ghizzano’s respect for nature, the place that hosts us and the people who work and live in the area ultimately combines to create high-quality wine which reflect the style, the elegance and rich fragrances of Tuscany.
VinAccessGlobal and Tenuta di Ghizzano have been working together since 2022 with the full range currently available in Australia. We are in discussion with passionate Italian specialists regarding distribution of Tenuta di Ghizzano’s portfolio throughout Asia.

Tenuta di Ghizzano’s range is a pure expression of the territory from which they come from
Veneroso Terre di Pisa
Veneroso (mostly Sangiovese plus a little Cabernet Sauvignon) was first produced in 1985 and has now earned its reputation as one of Italy’s great red wines!
Il Ghizzano Bianco
A blend of traditional Tuscan white grapes: 50% Vermentino with Trebbiano and Malvasia, Il Ghizzano Bianco is a fresh and fruity wine for easy drinking.
Il Ghizzano Rosso
Mainly Sangiovese, plus a small proportion of Merlot, Il Ghizzano Rosso is the property’s entry level wine that features all the sweetness of the local Sangiovese.
Nambrot
Named after one of Ginevra’s ancestors, Nambrot was first produced in 1996 and is Merlot based with an addition of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot.

“An American friend gave me a bottle of Veneroso many years ago telling me it was an iconic brand in the US but unavailable in Asia. He also suggested I cellar it for a few more years. I finally opened the bottle in early 2022 and was tremendously impressed. I contacted the winery and we set up a zoom tasting of the whole range. Finally, at Vinitaly in April 2022 I was able to meet Ginevra Venerosi in person and we started working together formally.”

“I met Alison in 2020 during an online meeting since the pandemic was still affecting the whole world and finally in 2022 we met personally! I liked Alison right away (even during our first online tasting) since I had immediately the impression that we share similar ideas in what is a good wine. Balance, elegance and harmony are the main characteristics we look for when we taste a wine and I am very happy that she is taking care of my wines for the Asian markets!”
