Monte Tondo

Quality wine that represents the area in which it is produced
Monte Tondo is the most recent addition to our wine partner portfolio. The Magnabosco family have been cultivating 40 ha of vineyard in Soave for three generations, adding further high altitude sites in Valpolicella Superiore in 1998.
Monte Tondo’s range covers all the well known DOC and DOCG wines of Soave and Valpolicella with Amarone, Recioto and Ripasso alongside a selection of increasingly refined Soave products with firm acidity, minerality and elegance. Around one quarter of these Garganega vineyards comprise ungrafted wines between 80 to 100 years old which survived phylloxera. These vineyards are now farmed organically.
VinAccessGlobal and Monte Tondo have been working in close partnership since 2024 with a mission to develop new sales/export opportunities across Singapore and throughout South East Asia.

Soave Classico
Monte Tondo Wines
Competitively priced, delightful wines from organically farmed vineyards
Soave Classico DOC
A classic Soave with pale green tints in the glass and a nose that suggests almonds and crisp acidity. The palate is lively and fresh with fruity nutty flavours and a clean finish. The wine is produced in stainless steel.
Soave Classico Casette Foscarino DOC
Produced from a 25 hectare vineyard on volcanic soil. Ripening batches of grapes are harvested separately, fermented at low temperature and aged 6 months in barriques and large casks before bottling, and released after one year in bottle. This Soave has distinctly bitter sweet fruit, silky texture and a very full flavour.
Soave Classico DOCG Superiore Foscarino
Produced from even later harvested grapes from the same vineyard, macerated 24 hours before fermentation in large tonneau and aged on lees in stainless steel before bottling. The wine has extraordinary intensity of flavour and a mouth filling creamy texture balanced with firm acidity. Shows why Soave is a wine to pursue.
Ripasso DOC della Valpolicella
A well-balanced example of this popular style created by encouraging a second fermentation in January. Grape skins from Amarone production are added to the Valpolicella (70% Corvina and 30% Rondinella). After the second fermentation the finished wine ages 18 months in barrel and 8 months in bottle before release. The wine retains freshness and fruit and is delightful with food.
Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG
This wine shows intense spicy fruit flavours reminiscent of rich Christmas cake on the nose. Grapes are dried for several months before fermentation in the traditional method for Amarone production. The semidried grapes are pressed, and fermentation on the skin begins around February, and lasts almost one month. The finished wine is aged 40 months in barriques before bottling.
